Drum roll please…. The nominations for the 2023
MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards are in and women from across Sumo Digital
have been shortlisted!
Held annually, the MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards
recognise and celebrate the amazing female talent working in the UK games industry.
For The Chinese Room, UE4/UI Programmer Audrey Profit has
been nominated for Development Impact; for Sumo Sheffield, Technical Design
Director Michelle Chapman has been nominated for Career Mentor and, last but
not least, Lab42 Games’ Lead Programmer Essi Suurkuuka has been nominated for
Technical Innovation.
Our parent company, Sumo Group, also received a nomination for
Group Director of HR Karen McLoughlin in the In-House HR and Recruitment Impact
category.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday
the 1st of March 2023.
