Sumo Digital studios announce support on the development of Forza Horizon 5

Two of Sumo Digital’s studios – Sumo India and Sumo Nottingham – are delighted to announce their support on the development of Forza Horizon 5.

Sumo India and Sumo Nottingham worked with Playground Games on the development of Xbox Game Studios’ critically acclaimed Forza Horizon series’ latest release.

Forza Horizon 5, which released globally on 9th November 2021, welcomes players to explore the ever-evolving, open-world landscapes of vibrant Mexico with limitless, fun driving action in hundreds of the world’s greatest cars.

Gary Dunn, Managing Director at Sumo Digital, said: “I’m thrilled to announce that two of our studios – Sumo India and Sumo Nottingham – have supported the development of Forza Horizon 5.

“This project marks the seventh year working with Playground Games and we’re delighted to have supported their latest project.

“It’s been an outstanding year for both of these studios – with Sumo India expanding its operations to Bangalore and Sumo Nottingham working on a range of exciting projects. A huge congratulations to all teams involved.”

In recent months, Sumo Digital announced the increase of its presence in India with the announcement of both an expansion to its Pune studio and the launch of its new studio, Sumo Bangalore, set to open in 2022.

Forza Horizon 5 is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and xCloud.
